Wednesday, October 28 2026 - Commercial motorcycle riders, popularly known as okada riders, staged a protest in Nsukka, Enugu State, over an alleged ₦400 daily e-ticket levy.
The riders expressed frustration over the payment,
describing it as an additional financial burden on their daily earnings.
This extortion is too much. Which one is e-ticket of
₦400 daily?” one of the protesters questioned.
The riders called attention to the levy as they protested
what they described as unfair charges.
