Tuesday, September 22, 2026 -Veteran entertainer and human rights activist, Charlyboy, has criticised the state of infrastructure and living conditions in Nigeria.
In a video shared online, Charlyboy said Nigerians have
become accustomed to poor public services, describing good roads as a luxury
and steady electricity as something only the rich can afford.
He also criticised the rising cost of goods, questioning how
the price of an item could increase from ₦10,000 to ₦100,000 without
accountability.
“I have never seen a country with higher rate of dumb
citizens than Nigeria. A country where good roads are treated as luxury, where
people with steady electricity are classified as the rich. A country where the
price of goods can jump from 10k to 100k overnight with no questions asked and
you call that a country?” he said.
