Friday, August 28, 2026 - A Nigerian woman has expressed disappointment after allegedly discovering on Facebook that her 70-year-old father is set to marry a 35-year-old woman she described as his side chick.
In a video, she said she was shocked to learn about the
wedding through a post sent by a friend instead of being informed by her father
or the family.
She described her father as her childhood hero and the
standard for the kind of man she hoped to marry, but said his alleged decision
had changed how she viewed him.
She also praised her mother for holding the family together
during difficult years, claiming her father began treating her differently
after becoming financially comfortable.
She concluded by saying she no longer recognises the man her
father has become and revealed that the wedding is reportedly scheduled for
September 10
