A distressing CCTV clip that spread rapidly across X, Facebook and Instagram on August 16, 2026, has shown the final moments of Blessing Orji, the businesswoman widely known as Bebe Jewelry or Bebe Orji, who reportedly collapsed and died inside a commercial store in China.

The footage shows Bebe Jewelry seated in the store when she
begins pressing her hand to her chest.
Many who watched the clip interpreted the gesture as a sign
of cardiac distress. She appeared to make efforts to attract the attention of
those nearby, but customers and attendants continued going about their business
without stopping.
She then slipped off her chair and fell to the floor. Even
after she went down, no one in the footage moved to physically help her, though
one attendant was seen tapping on a phone, seemingly making a call.
Bebe Jewelry, who had a following on TikTok and
Facebook, reportedly passed away inside the store.
The precise location of the store was not established, and
no formal medical confirmation or statement from diplomatic authorities or the
family had been issued at the time of writing.
