Thursday, August 6, 2026 - Troops of Operation Enduring Peace (OPEP) have arrested a 20-year-old Fulani man for allegedly st@bbing his elder brother to d3ath during a domestic dispute in Jema’a Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Intelligence sources told security analyst Zagazola Makama
that the incident occurred at about 8:00 a.m. on August 2, 2026 at Ungwon
Hausawa Village, Gidan Waya District.
According to the sources, troops of Sector 7 OPEP responded
to a distress call over the st@bbing of a Fulani man by his younger brother.
On arrival, the troops found the victim critically injured
and immediately evacuated him to the General Hospital, Kafanchan, where he was
later confirmed d3ad by medical personnel.
The suspect, identified as Abubakar Usman, 20, was arrested
at the scene by the troops and taken into custody for further investigation and
necessary legal action.
Security sources said the motive behind the fatal st@bbing
is yet to be established, while investigations are ongoing to determine the
circumstances that led to the incident.
